As it is not absorbed properly by the human body, it might trigger undesirable health effects like type 1 diabetes, neurological impairment, autoimmune disease, heart diseases. Why should I not buy Ghee from my A2 Cow Milk vendor and buy brown pearl?
Procurement standards, processing and plant hygiene is very important to us right beginning from milking to packing. We request our valued visitors to see the processing at our plant and then make a choice. Usually the A2 milk suppliers in city avoid following norms and protocols of food safety like the FSSAI , HAACP, ISO 22000 etc which lay great stress of practices, and traceability. More over, the milk comes from (either) their own cow farms (or unknown sources) where they stall-feed all the cows (i.e. no social distancing), and those cows have limited area to exercise around. Whereas, we procure the milk from small marginal farmers of Bhal region, where each cows go for grazing of around 8 kms almost every day. What is the concept of smoking point with respect to oil?
Smoke point refers to the temperature at which it starts to burn and smoke. Heating beyond this normally would develop acridity. Refined oils due to removal of solids and impurities have higher smoke points whereas cold pressed oils have lower ranges heating beyond which lowers flavor. When you cook with oil that's been heated past its smoke point, you do more than impart a burnt flavour to foods. Beneficial nutrients and phytochemicals found in many cooking oils are destroyed when it is overheated. Overheating also creates harmful free radicals (Same as in question no 8.). Ghee by inherent virtue has high smoking point which renders it nicely adapted to high heat cooking and flavor development of maillard reaction.
Why Brown Pearl Ghee costs more?
We believe that each of our customer deserves to receive the true value of their payment. We charge our customers for the Quality, Care and Hygiene that go to make the product. Besides, we make sure that the marginal farmers from which we procure the milk are fairly compensated. We are purchasing the milk at a premium to the prevailing price when compared to the prevailing practice of commercial dairy industry. So we believe that cutting cost by cutting corners is not an ethical practice and our customer’s health and quality of product cannot be compromised. A truthful product when rightly compared turns out to be more economical and satisfying in the longer run. We as an organisation have always believed in ‘Fair Trade’ and ‘Value for Money’ principles.
